The series follows Amant Ducet, a half human / half Qyron, two hundred years in our future. Amant works as a translator, who vocalizes the telepathic thoughts of the Qyron, to the humans for political and business transactions. She lives her life as a very well paid, well educated woman. A "Rock Star" lifestyle of first class accommodations and frequent travel, her world suddenly changes when she has a chance meeting with an old friend from the neighborhood, John. Amant quickly adjusts her plans when she decides to join John on his transport to a new colony. From this point, The Amant Chronicles begins... Each volume in this four part series has a second story line. Volume One features Jennifer Winston, the very first translator.

This second storyline follows Jennifer, in our very near future, whose brutal abduction by the Qyron, results in the very first successful brain implant on a human. She is now able to hear the Qyron's thoughts. Jennifer is given the task of introducing the Qyron species to the humans of Earth. Not an easy job, as Jennifer must gain the ear of the President of the United States. Her story is fraught with many challenges and is full of action. Jennifer's story ends in this first of four volumes.
The Amant Chronicles Volumes 2 and 3 are written and awaiting publication. Volume 4 is safely locked away in the grey matter of my imagination.
